Adaptive Behavioral Supports

Adaptive behavioral Supports is designed to meet the needs of families with children who are experiencing behavioral, emotional and/or mental health challenges, that interfere with their skill development, quality of life, and community inclusion activities. This service works with the family unit on a short term basis (four months or 90 hours) giving practical ways to meet the unique needs of the child. The intent of Adaptive Behavioral Supports is to give families the skills and tools they require to meet the needs of the child, while maintaining focus on utilizing the current skills and abilities of the child. This service is for children up to the age of 17 supported by Family Services for Children with Disabilities (FCSD). »See Brochure
